Flights to and from Funchal, takes only 15 minutes and the ferry crossing is 2h 30min.

Porto Santo Island is 300 miles from the African coast and 20 miles north-east of Funchal , 600 miles from the European continent, only 1h 20min flight from mainland Portugal. There are plenty of flights available for the short trip to and from Europe (less than 4 hours from UK).
